A money transfer scammer who favors Gmail dropboxes has taken on a new lease of life recently, generating dozens of messages. Stylistic features of the messages suggest that they also went so far as to register their own domain, w-ei.com, as well. Recent messages have contained a note that says:
P.S. This job is not associated with "money muls"
Just like messages that say This is not spam
, the rule here is If it says it isn't, it is.
. Allowing for a minor spelling error — muls
for mules
— the form of the messages makes it clear that it's a classic money mule scam.
